Robin G. Todd, PhD, BCE

Director

Robin joined ICR in 1979 as an entomologist, and became the director in 1990. He oversees efficacy testing and regulatory services, and is the principal contact for new clients. He worked for the Mosquito Research & Control Unit on Grand Cayman during 1971-1978 as a "VSO" (volunteer serving overseas, which is the UK equivalent of the Peace Corp). He has a BA (Honors) in biological sciences from Lancaster, and a PhD in entomology from Reading; both in the UK.

Ellen Quinn

Associate Director, Administration

Ellen joined ICR after leaving an Entomologist position with the USDA. She has a BS in agriculture with a major in entomology, and experience in private business. She has completed post-graduate classes, and attends relevant workshops and professional meetings sponsored by regulatory agencies, professional associations, and industry groups. She oversees the administration of ICR, meets and works with ICR's regulatory and testing clients, and heads the Quality Assurance Unit.

Nick Spero

Associate Director, Operations and Laboratory Manager

Nick joined ICR many years ago, after obtaining a BS with a dual major of biology and Field Natural Studies. He also managed a family business. In addition to overseeing the operation of the ICR facility, he manages the testing laboratory, meets with clients, stays current by attending relevant GLP and SQA workshops, and has been the study director of approximately 100 GLP laboratory and field studies, and countless non-GLP studies.

Reginald R. Coler, PhD, BCE

Associate Director of Business Development

Reg has more than 30 years experience in entomologically related research which includes monitoring and estimating pest population densities, and the discovery of new biological control agents (viruses & nematodes). Prior to joining ICR, Inc. Reg was involved with both academia/extension and small business. As the state coordinator, Reg was responsible for implementing the legislative act which mandated the use of IPM to control pests in schools and daycare centers within Massachuesetts. As an adjunct faculty member, within the Department of Entomology at the University of Massachusetts, he conducted research on mosquito behavior and mosquito trap development. Additionally, Reg was intimately involved with growing a small business to the point where it is now prospering and recognized by international companies and governmental agencies alike. Reg earned his Ph.D. in Entomology from the University of Florida, Gainesville, specializing in the area of integrated pest management and biological control to suppress insect pests; and his M.S. and B.S. in Entomology from University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Bill Gaynor

Biologist

Bill joined ICR after working many years in the public health and computer fields. He has a BS in biology and an MS in Environmental Sciences. He is a study director for many GLP and non-GLP studies, writes protocols and reports, assists with the operation of our facility, and is a member of the Quality Assurance Unit.

Timothy Foard, MS

Entomologist

Timothy joined ICR in 2000. Over the last twenty years, he held diverse positions in entomology at various federal and state agencies. He serves as a study director for both GLP and non-GLP studies. Timothy received a BS in biology (1984) from Armstrong Atlantic State University (Savannah, GA) and a Masters in entomology (1995) from the University of Georgia.

Kristine Styer

Entomologist/ Biologist

Kristine joined ICR in February 2008, after recently earning a BS in Entomology and Wildlife Conservation from the University of Delaware. She maintains many of our various colonies, develops testing methods, and also serves as study coordinator for efficacy studies. Kristine has attended GLP training workshops and will be conducting GLP studies in the near future.

Chuck Cornell

Entomologist

Chuck joined ICR in December of 2007. In addition to his work with ICR, he currently owns and operates an ornamental plant IPM business and teaches in the Horticulture Department at local community colleges. Prior to joining ICR, he worked in biomedical research, maintained a breeding colony of Rhesus monkeys,  worked as a insect collection curator and entomology assistant at the Smithsonian Institution, and as an assistant to a landscape designer.   His graduate work at the Department of Entomology at the University of Maryland demonstrated the effectiveness of IPM in nursery stock production.  

Jesica Stoltzfus

Entomologist/Technical Writer

Jesica joined ICR in 2008 after obtaining an M.S. degree in biological sciences, and specialized in entomology. She also holds a B.S. degree in biology with a minor in chemistry. Her employment background includes teaching at a local community college, quality assurance for a pharmaceutical firm and plant tissue culture research. Currently, she serves as ICR’s technical writer drafting protocols and reports for GLP and non-GLP studies, as well as writing SOP’s for ICR’s quality assurance unit.
