About ICR

ICR Inc., a private contract research lab, is committed to objectively and confidentially conducting pesticide product testing. A pesticide may work by killing, repelling, or attracting insect pests and other pest arthropods. If your product is not yet in the final market formula, then ICR can assist with product development and research by recommending lab and field tests to evaluate product efficacy. ICR’s regulatory team can also prepare and submit EPA registration applications, as well as Canadian PMRA and individual State pesticide product applications.

ICR achieves its mission through the following:

  • Conducting initial and subsequent tests for direct contact or residual activity insecticides, repellants, attractants (including pheromones), growth regulators, devices or fabrics that may contain these substances in their design, or devices which use a form of energy to perform the same function(s) as those above.
  • Registering pesticide products with U.S. EPA, states (including California) and Canada's PMRA
  • Maintaining registrations;  including registration review, label changes when required, and serving as liaison between client and regulatory officials.
  • Serves as consultants for registrants, private entities and government cooperators, providing expertise and solutions in multi-laboratory or multi-agency activities, and periodically design and refine testing methods to be used as industry standards
  • Keeping abreast of status of public health pests, such as the emerging bed bug problem
